Pattersons Produce is my favourite pet supply store in Wynnum. The family business opened their doors for business in the 1920’s and to this location in 1974. Quirky in that it is a good old fashioned pet and produce store. A massive shed full to the brim of supplies so it is an animal lovers dream store. For this reason people drive from all over Brisbane to shop here.
Firstly you note the hay bales on the side of the road and you get a hint this isn’t a shopping centre pet store. Then looking closer you will hear Henry the talking cockatoo who has been chatting away for 40 years. Glancing around you will see the day old chickens and chickens ready for laying waiting for their new owners, colourful fish and the list goes on. You will find all that you need.
